Weekly Classes
Weekly classes at your child’s daycare during the day. Multiple options available like Creative Movement (ages 2-3), Combo: Tap & Ballet (ages 4-5), Boys Crew (ages 3-5), and Musical Theater (ages 4-5). There is a little something for all ages!

Performance Opportunities
With two shows per season (mid and end of season,) our travel program students have the opportunity to perform in front of a loving and encouraging audience. Costumes are carefully chosen to be on theme with the show.

Convenient and Fun
Daytime classes the perfect opportunity for students to get their dance class done during the day, allowing more freedom and time in the evenings for families. It’s also fun too! Use of props in weekly classes and catchy songs with movement to draw their attention.
Coming to your daycare!
Classes begin September 3rd, and will continue through mid May 2025. Students will learn basic moves, gain flexibility and strength, rehearse routines, learn dedication and commitment. Students also have the opportunity to perform in The Lex Center’s Christmas Show (Dec 2024 - Combo, Boys Crew) and Spring Show (May 2024 - Creative Movement, Combo, Boys Crew).
Learn the basics with friends!
The Lex Center of Performing Arts desires to provide the best training to help each student with creativity and understanding movement. Students involved with dance and movement classes for daycare programs will have beginning training in dance. Typically, each 30 min class will be constructed by stretching, warm-up, across the floor and dance combinations, as well as basic acting, singing and dancing with musical theater. Students receive special awards stamps at the end of classes for good behavior and great listening.
There are performance opportunities as well where the students can perform their pieces for an incredibly loving audience!
